The preparatory work and operation process of stainless steel castings |

The preparation process of stainless steel castings requires meticulous preparation and meticulous operation procedures. The following is an overview of its key steps: During the preparatory stage, it is first necessary to select stainless steel materials suitable for casting, such as stainless steel ZG35Ni24Cr18Si2. This material has excellent heat resistance and is highly suitable for casting production. Next, make the corresponding molds according to the shape and size of the required castings. The production of molds usually involves comprehensive processes such as turning, planing, milling, etching and electrical discharge machining to ensure the precision and durability of the molds. After entering the operation process, a large number of industrial wax solid core models are first produced using molds. After these wax molds are finely trimmed to remove burrs, they will be adhered to the pre-prepared mold heads to prepare for the subsequent spraying and shaping. Next, evenly spray industrial glue on the wax mold and cover it with a layer of fine sand. The fine sand particles are small and uniform, which can ensure the smoothness of the rough surface. This process will be repeated many times. Each time, the size of the sandblasted sand particles and the air-drying time will be different until a complete sand shell is formed. Then, place the sand shell in a dedicated oven for heating, causing the wax model to melt and flow out, thus forming an empty sand shell. After the sand shell is further baked to enhance its firmness, liquid stainless steel water can be poured into it. After the stainless steel water cools and solidifies in the sand shell, the sand shell can be crushed to obtain the blank of the stainless steel casting. Inspect the blanks to ensure that their quality meets the requirements. Blanks with sand holes or gas holes on the surface need to be repaired by welding or remelted. After cleaning and subsequent processing, stainless steel castings that meet the standards are obtained. |
